Miguel Teixeira Soares de Sousa was the brother-in-law of the Viscondessa and the eldest son of the Teixeira Soares family.
With a PhD in philosophy, Miguel Teixeira devoted himself to politics in São Jorge and worked for many years as Deputy Judge.
